Breaking all the Rules!

It's official!

"The Knot" says it's okay to break the rules!

Brides have been doing it for awhile now,

and I love it!

The fact is,

there is just no right or wrong anymore.

That is why I was SO excited to see the article, "20 Wedding Traditions You Can Skip" from "The Knot".

They have a "New Twist" for all of the "Old School Rules" and great photos from some non-traditional weddings!

Some of my favorites from the list include:

• Rather than a uniformed wedding party, choose mismatched bridesmaids dresses that fit their personalities(and yours).
• Skip the veil and opt for a feather fascinator, a sparkly clip or wear your hair down with nothing at all!
• Think you have to pick just one or two colors for your color scheme? Think again. As long as the colors go together, you can have as many or few as you'd like.

• Plus, say goodbye to understated accessories! And, hello to satement necklaces and BLACK SHOES;)
